I’ll have you know I is svelte(ish) if you’re talking about that girth. If you’re talking about what @JoeC refers to as his girth then suffice to say, like all men, I more than amply endowed Back on track... the problem, for me, with hangy downy bar end mirrors, is my forearms & wrists are in my line of sight from my eyes to the mirror. Thus the mirror is displaying perfectly what ever is behind me but I can’t see it
