It's pretty nice, the only bit I don't like is the back of the dash being visible, needs a cover to tidy it up or the bottom of the screen smoked slightly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This will sell well, I quite like the looks of it. Even the exhaust looks ok. Price it well and they may have a winner here.
Correct me if im wrong but "theyve done grey before" - werent the last of the streetfighters grey, some of the monsters as well? - or is this another type of grey...
Screens pretty low. 113bhp. Quickshifter on S. Shame they didnt put white frame and wheels on red bike like the mcn cg pic.
Well I had an ST4s, great great bike, but in the end the riding position was too painful in my neck, and I couldn't look around properly. Now in can see and be comfy on my MTS1200, but the seat is too high, love the engine though. So here I can see a bike that will be uncomfortable and not powerful enough, I wonder if I am alone as all other posts love it. BTW it looks the dogs! Just the underwhelming Performance, not even the same power as my old ST?
I really like it to be honest, I'm just a little underwhelmed by the power. I'm sure it'll be fun thrashing the arse off it but even still at £12000+ I'd have hoped for a little more than what they've produced in terms of bhp. The problem I have with it is that it's the sort of bike I'd buy to give me something sporty but also quite good to put the Mrs on the back of, I'm just not sure it's going to have the grunt to keep things interesting especially with two people on it
Agreed, i do a lot of 2 up on my 999 and will be looking to update in a couple of years or so. I have 140 bhp allegedly which is plenty but 113 maybe not enough. Torque should be good tho with long stroke motor. Triumph kept the 1200r bonnie figures quiet because they wanted it riden before they announced 98bhp, and the journo's all said it made good power. In reality 113 is probably enough for road use which is what ducati say its for. 1198 version in a year or 2 by public demand anyway.
Hmmm - A little underwhelming really. I'd want a little more poke, it all depends on how it generates that power, though; plenty of low down, old-school-Ducati midrange and it'll be fine. I had a Honda CBF1000 for a commuter, that only had 100bhp but it was good enough for 2-up riding. Adequate, not exciting. EDIT - Just seen the photos on Visordown. I like it. That's a good looking bike. Hope it does well for them.
