Well I got a two letters yesterday, one saying I will need to see a DVLA doctor due to my brain surgery. The other than stated my C1 (18ton license is been recinded/removed for 1year) & C2 (artics that I drive) for 5-years.. Anyhow I'm not taking it seriously as this is just the standard responce to brain surgery & they are not doing their job. As in see me & evaluate my recovery.
I passed my test in 1968 But what happens from before then for the people that were never required to take a test? However: If you go to this link you can check on your entitlements and copy & paste it for your records. https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence It works fine because it gives all the entitlements and the dates when they end. OK, I have to renew after that but, I can show that I was entitled until then so there should be no argument. It also shows penalties and points; plus you can provide a code to say, an employer so they can check.
