  1. I have just done 300 miles today, and the consumption seems to be about 50 mpg in mixed going (traffic jams, motorways, country roads). Running-in though, so no high revs or big throttles yet.

  4. It's the aero innit? Testified to by the shite you get on the back of your jacket when riding solo with no box/crud catcher. I've even had rain travelling forwards over my shoulders at speed before down to the neg pressure behind me.

  5. Ah that explains the dead flys on my back. I though I was just riding slower that they fly.

Or it could be that when you're fully laden the back sits down and you can get more fuel in you tank. The fuel tank is a horse shoe shape and goes forward around each side of your forks, may be theirs an air lock there when you have no weight on the bike.

  6. You're just riding slower and smoother would be my guess

  7. With mine being in the back of a recovery truck so often i was getting over 250 mpg!

  8. I have had similar MPG when my rear tyre blew.

  9. Just done another 200 miles today, taking it fairly easy, and consumption seems to be about 58 mpg. Filling the tank, the "Range" shown on the display is well over 200 miles.

  10. Oh dear. Dave is going to need a 49l tank lol

  11. Liking the sound of that 200 to a tank would be great.

  12. I get can get 2013 bike to say 200+ miles to go sometimes but I have never actually got close to it.:D
