looking at possibly adding one over the winter,mainly use on the road and a few track days,any advice welcome please on what to look for,weak points etc,thanks
Not many weakpoints on the 848 Evo, other than the fact that the suspension is set up really poorly for road use. it's WAY too firm at both ends in spring rate, so budget for the following: 1) suspension set up 2) Oberon Clutch slave, as the clutch is super heavy 3) Smaller front sprocket, massive improvement on the road. If your doing loads of trackdays, maybe think about a slipper clutch, certainly before you spend money on things like noisy pipes. Some say there are radiator issues with 848's but I think that was mostly the non evo models, never had an issue with my bike
