  1. You should be able to look down and see it open with a torch where are you located

  2. I found it popped a bit more on the over run but the main advantage is if it rusts then it rusts and stays open!

  3. I found that it smooths out things a little when riding at 'around town' speeds. Maybe placebo effect/conformation bias...

    This, a throttle spacer and 14/40, or 15/42, gearing combined refines the bike IMHO.
