Exhaust Flaps

  1. It may have been replaced at some point?

    It does have a Ducati part no on it looks like 55214141A.
     
  2. having replaced the rear wheel speed sensor on my previous 1260: It was a right pain to remove as the connector that was under the seat had to be passed through some very restricted and tight areas with other cables etc in the way. I was tempted to cut both old and new cables, then solder and heat-shrink to get around this problem. In the end I persisted and managed to route the full replacement cable, pulling through with the old one. A sloppy cut and solder job could well have resulted in excess cable length.
