Everybody needs to get themselves into a good BBC panic ... This is my forecast for tomorrow and today it has been sunny and quite pleasant. This is my non-BBC forecast for tomorrow: I'm panicking....
It's snowing quite heavily here in Basingstoke and has been for about half an hour. It won't lay coz it's too warm but that hasn't stopped the numpty drivers from being lunatics. Both the overly cautious and the DGAF'ers. Andy
i took my snow tyres of yesterday. there was easy 4" of snow on my car and road this morning. i do know B+B owners that are convinced the BBC weather reports are sponcored by the english tourest board. i'v seen big pishing down clouds on the map continusly for months when their has actually been drought warnings and forrest fires happening on the west coast.
aye, the lad was a tad disapointed when, super panda made it up and over he hill to the school bus stop. even with normal tyres. pandas rock.
The BBC reports the news from the Met office. The report is "people are being warned" - "not we are warning people" Don't shoot the messenger
Although this is a reasonable argument and one I have some sympathy for, we are talking here of the BBC. Shooting the messenger really is too good for them ... but it is acceptable.
I remember pissing off my eldest daughter taking her to college in my wife's Renault Megane, she was convinced it wouldn't make it out of the driveway
Where do we get our news from then? Mail on line FFS I defend the BBC at every turn, not perfect.. but the best Media Organization in the World
