Yes years ago. Imho a boot is a boot: it’s more about fit providing they have decent protect in shin, ankle and toes

Nope don't agree with you on the bit about a boot is a boot as back in the day these Alpinestars GP PRO boots were the Nuts & just fitted like slippers!,
Tried other makes at the time & not so good looks/fitment/comfy.IMO

A bit weird the zip being on the opposite side of Sidi’s. I keep trying to put the left on the right and vice versa
I miss the vents for the cool air in summer but having said that my feet don’t sweat in them

Using all BKS gear since i had to buy everything fresh on returning to biking , have to say its all far superior to the memories i have of what i used to ride in which was admittedly a cheap Heine Gericke suit and Alpinestars.
Tried a few boots on at the time and the BKS ones were a snug but comfy fit and feel tough as ......
Buy cheap and you buy twice. short term thinking but not always the case in life.
