Ladies And Gentlemen, I'd Like To Propose A Book.
I really like Waaza's thread "Where Did The Love Affair Start For You ?"
The title is spot on.
I find it really interesting to know what fired you up. Entertaining stories of Italian Uncles and dad's and side cars. If you haven't read the thread, then have a look.
Everyone has an interesting story to tell. No matter what age or stage. No matter how short or long or however it's written. Add then and now picture, collate lots of stories and it's done.
There was a great book published called "Men and their Sheds'. This would be along similar lines.
Who would like to contribute? I would urge each and everyone of you.
I can talk to a Publishing mate of mine. See if we can make it fly, but we need contributors.
Just give me a yay or nay on here n post your story. -

collected my new bike today.
Really pleased with it. Only managed 50 miles ride home as the weather is pretty grim but hopefully will get a proper ride next week.
First things to do is fit the seat cowl, eazi grips and tank pad and just ride the thing.
Maybe if an exhaust I like come up I will change but the exhaust really doesn't bother me TBH and sounds great. -

Quality Service: Cornerspeed Nottingham
Picked my GT 1000 up from Cornerspeed in Nottingham. The bike had been running dog rough and a full service was due. Neil from Cornerspeed cast his magic spell, skill and Ducati sensitive ear over my beautiful bike and now she runs so sweet, so smooth just goddamn as though she were straight out of the showroom.
Thank you Neil for your work. This is the place to get great service, great cost and really decent coffee too. I should add that I took my bike on recommendation and have no connection with Cornerspeed either personally or in business. -
1198 Prepping For Track
Purchased a wrecked 2010 1198s corse se from an insurance auction and getting it ready to race regionally this year.
High speed lowside on right side. Right clip on snapped in half, right controls, throttle, master destroyed. Front, right, rear body wrecked. Right rearset tabs broken off. Other than that it looks to be in good shape.
I managed to get all the parts I need from various boards and have finally gotten some good weather where I can work on her in the garage.
I've actually been pretty lucky so far. I managed to get in touch with the original owner and got the immobilizer card, spare keys and upgrades (pzracing gps for the dash and gear indicator)
Then at a local motorcycle show I was chatting with a mechanic for one of the national teams, turns out he used to be a Ducati factory mechanic. Had a box of spares in his garage..met up the next day and ended up with a new full termi 70mm system, front rotors, woodcraft clipsons and rearsets. All for less than the... -

848 Oh 848
Picked up my new to me 848 Evo SE today, new tyres and pissing rain on a blustery bad day for biking. Just come back from a second blast. I couldn't resist. I daren't take any pictures. I'd be drummed out of the Ducati club for bike abuse. I already have a deeply loved SF848 and the Evo has not let me down. Solid as a rock and light and lovely all at the same time. Even in the mud and rain I am very pleased with my purchase. Weather be damned. I shall further acquaint myself in the morning. -

After 20 Years, Bought My Dreambike Today!
Hello, my name is Anders, and new to this forum. Im an "old family guy" from Norway, ridden and owned several bikes through many years (mostly japanese bikes; R1, CBR1000, GSXR1000`s, ZX-10R, also Aprilia RSV1000R factory, BMW1200RS and KTM´s). But never my dream from mid-90`s:
This is the one. Owned and served well by the same guy last 20 years.
To be honest, i hope it will function a few more miles. Its been ridden a lot, 57000 miles (!).... Many "things" have been done with it last year, but, i will post more updates during the coming season to tell You all how it works.
A Ducati dealer told me it may last all the way up to 90-100000 miles if i took care of it. I will try
(Sorry for my bad english)
Looking forward to hang around this forum, cheers:sunglasses:
