What A Bloody Year!!
This time last year,I was diagnosed with cancer, breast cancer which had spread to my lymph nodes. My chemotherapy started on December 1st,then every three weeks for eight sessions, the lump hardly shrinking after four sessions, they had to change to a different, stronger chemo....it absolutely floored me,ending up in hospital for a week, out of the eight sessions I spent five of them in hospital.I ended up being too paranoid to go to work,or to be too far away from my hospital. The worst thing was the side effects, each time they were different, all as horrible as each one,but different...ranging from no coating in your whole mouth to constipation to toe and finger nails turning black and eventually falling out painfully!!I never felt so 'alone'.
To say it was the worst moment of my entire life would be such an understatement,I felt as though I had been given a death sentence, and like my mum did 17 years ago,die from it.
All my family, friends old and new were awesome, supportive and... -

In the wake of this major achievement, the company is now getting ready to reveal the most important new products for 2016, a year that will, as previously announced, see the arrival of nine new bikes.

Ducati UK has agreed a support package with Lloyds British Moto Rapido team that will see the popular Winchester based outfit continue in the premier MCE British Superbike class for 2016.
The package agreed last week at Ducati’s Silverstone Headquarters shows the UK subsidiaries’ commitment not only to the MCE British Superbike series but also a show of loyalty to one of Ducati’s most passionate and dedicated dealer based teams.
This will be Moto Rapido’s fourth consecutive year in the premier class, with this year being the team’s most successful with its highest finishes, most number of front rows and its maiden Superbike podium.
Tim Maccabee, Managing Director:
“Steve Moore and the Moto Rapido team have shown what can be achieved by a small independent team and their results this year has been a testament to their dedication and passion together with the expertise that they have developed over the years. Claudio Domenicali, Ducati’s CEO, made to “deliver no less than nine new models” in the 2016 range, as the Italian manufacturer builds on its growth of more than 20 percent in 2015 and set new records for 2016.
Here's the rumours:
Monster 1200R was unveiled at Frankfurt, the first confirmed model.
Panigale 959 with a 955cc engine to replace current 899.
Hypermotard, Hypermotard SP and Hyperstrada will go from 821cc to 937cc and will likely carry 939 name tag.
Belt driven Diavel Cruiser
Here's the guesses:
Scrambler has been a huge success. Will we see any more models?
Smaller Multistrada?
1100evo engined Scrambler?
Panigalle 299 or 399?
So, what else have we heard? If you've any sneaky news let me know and I will keep this thread updated. -

899 One Year And Almost 8,000 Miles Later, The Verdict Is......
Bloody fantastic !!
Bought my new 899 September 19th last year, so I've had the bike for 13 months now and I'm still over the moon with it !!
I've used it quite a bit this year, 4 long weekends away, almost 1,000 miles each, plus the normal? weekend blasts and all the way from running it in I've never had one bit of bother with it.
The finish is spot on and it just cleans up like brand new with very little effort.
Its just had its 7,500 mile service ( £166 quid, bargain! ) and its going like stink, I ride it in race mode normally and only swap to road mode when it rains, I don't use the wet mode at all as it just dumbs the bike down too much.
As I've said before, the bike seemed to get loads better after 5,000 miles, revs quicker and the suspension seems like it has finally bedded in
One happy bunny! you can just see the chrome silencer of my mates BMW s1000XR poking out behind my bike.
This pic was taken at St Mary's Loch on a 3 day weekend up to Dumfries in Scotland, the... -

Proper chuffed !!
During the recent Ducati Global Dealer Meet, Ducati UK awarded us with the 2015 Dealer Service Award. To say I was happy is an understatement. Sat in a room of "giants" that is the whole UK network, to be honoured with this award is one of, if not the proudest moment in the 12 years Cornerspeed has been in existence. Thanks to Ducati UK but above all thank you to all our customers that have supported us.

Glenn Irwin joins Shane Byrne in all-star line-up
Ducati is delighted to announce that front-running MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship outfit Paul Bird Motorsport (PBM) will contest the 2016 season with Panigale R Superbikes. The Penrith-based team will field four-time BSB champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne alongside new signing Glenn Irwin.
Ulsterman Irwin makes the step up from the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship. The 25-year-old from Carrickfergus is a triple Irish champion and former British Supersport Cup champion and currently occupies third place in this year's British Supersport title race.
The team will use fully factory-supported Ducati Panigale Rs – a return to the marque with which Steve Hislop and Shane Byrne both claimed British Superbike Championships for the Italian company under the MonsterMob Ducati branding in the early 2000s.
