Mancave Testastretta Helmet
I’ve had an old helmet kicking around a while, so was planning something a bit off the wall with it these long boring nights.
That’s turned out to be a Testastretta tribute with faux working gears, belts, clutch, air intakes and lights. Thought it would go well with the light unit.
She’s all Dremeled out now, with red base coat applied.
I’ve sourced and trial fitted most of the parts, everything will run on bearings and be driven by 6v motors. Once I’ve finished the paint and graphics, hopefully today, I’ve start to fit everything.
It’s been a laugh so far. -
Hello From Cheltenham
Greetings forumites,
Back to motorbikes after a 16 year break and treated myself to this fantastic '17 Supersport S. Can't believe how much things have changed since my last bike (YZF750) with up/down quick shifters, ride modes, digital displays and the host of electronic safety features available nowadays. I know the bike looks a bit grubby in the photo but the 'after wash' photo was hopelessly out of focus
Plans are to try and get out as much as possible as the weather allows during the Winter, with some plans to maybe do a couple of track days when the weather gets better along with a bit of touring with mates / days out to BSB / IoM / Le Mans / etc. during the Summer.
I'd originally thought about a 899 / 959 / V2 Panigale but the SS was definitely the right bike for me after such a long lay off and although the YZF was a brilliant bike a big V twin was always my dream.
The SS might be joined by a V2 Panigale at some point though...

1299 She's Home
Picked the new bike up this afternoon. Only ridden for a few miles but wow what a lovely bike.
I see what you mean when you say it's different feel to an inline 4. Nice to have a shifter and blipper and it's so easy to get into gear.
Brakes are so much more than the Suzuki I had. -

The Passion For Ducati Has Never Been Greater With 59,447 Motorcycles Sold Worldwide
The passion for Ducati has never been greater. With 59,447 motorcycles sold worldwide, 2021 is the best year ever
Ducati concluded 2021 with a record figure of 59,447 motorcycles delivered to customers all over the world and achieving an increase in sales of + 24% over 2020 (48,042) and + 12% over 2019 (53,183).
Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO: “2021 was a magical year for Ducati. We delivered over 59,000 motorcycles, a number never achieved before in 95 years of the company's history. We also won the title of MotoGP Constructors' World Champion for the second consecutive year, and we started the electric era of our company with the V21L prototype, which foresees the bike that will race in the MotoE championship from 2023. The pandemic, which is still underway, in addition to generating so much suffering, has also made activities more complex, forcing us to conduct a continuous internal reorganization. Supply chains created delivery delays for which I want to apologize to all... -
My Panigale V4s Carbon
Hey everyone! I am coming back from 12 years out of the Ducati game after being hit by a red light runner on my Hypermotard 1100S. But, got the green light and decided to buy a Panigale V4S! At first I was going to buy a V4R but that would have ate up my budget and I really wanted something more unique that I helped create. Anyways, I'm too lazy to do a build thread but here is what I did over the last 6 months. I went mostly matte carbon but added some details in gloss carbon to give it some depth. Really happy with how it turned out. Excuse some of the dirt and finger prints in the pics... Too excited that I finished it to wipe it down fully.
Akrapovic Full Titanium Exhaust
BST Carbon Wheels
Fullsix Matte Carbon Tank
Fullsix Matte Carbon Monocoque Subframe
Fullsix Matte Carbon Fairings (Side, Nose, Inner Side, Tank Cover)
Fullsix Matte Carbon One-Piece Belly Pan
Fullsix Matte Carbon Frame Protectors
Fullsix Gloss Carbon Headlight Holder

Hello From Germany
Dear Ducati enthusiasts,
my name is Ralf Altmann, I am 57 years old and I am writing from Siegen, a smaller City in Germany, where I live with my wife and our 11 year old daughter.
I know, this is the right place and golden opportunity to introduce myself and to post a picture of my bike...but in fact I must admit, that I do not own a Ducati...nevertheless, one or the other piece has its home in my garage...
Now before someone reminds me, that the Yamaha fan club has its headquarter in the land of the rising sun..... I have to say that initially I came here via the "search functionality" (I was looking for a specific Dainese jacket).
Beside some other hobbies, bikes and vintage cars are my passion...but I am not affiliated with any particular brand. There are so many beautiful vehicles out there, I want to ride as much and as long as I can...
I wish to all of us always a safe ride...

New To Ducati With A Diavel 1260s
Ciao,
My name is Simone from Italy, Tuscany to be a bit more precise and I’m a new Ducati owner. I actually can’t believe it as I have had everything so far except Ducati… but things have changed. Got in love with a Diavel just before Christmas and now here we are. My son is in love too. Thanks to let me in and for the future inspiration. -

First Ducati, First Post
Good evening all,
Last week I took delivery of what I can only describe as my dream bike a 2003 Yellow 749S Mono. Appreciate the 749/999 generation weren’t to everyone’s design taste but I have always liked them and finally got to a position where I could afford it.
I spent a while searching about until I came across this one, it’s got 8000 miles on it, has just had the belts serviced and came complete with all service books, keys etc.
I bought it from Leeds but live in Aberdeen so had to have it couriered up North. It’s currently moved a total distance of driveway to garage but it’s being stored in a “bike bubble” as condensation at this time of year is nightmare.
Looking forward to sharing some photos…when I can work out how…
Cheers,
Cammy -

Finally got the single rear seat conversion done.
New rear seat unit, original seat pad and rear cushion, replacement under-tray, remade the exhaust hangers and SPO rear frame.
Now I have 3 bikes in 1, depending on how the mood takes me (can't do that with one of the SP models, with the prices they are now making).
Strada with low level pipes and rear seat and pegs
Full on cosmetic SP5 tribute

600 Monster Rider In Bristol
Hi all, thanks for adding me to the group. Just recently got a yellow 600 Monster 1997 and slowly working through all the problems I didn't see when I was buying it because I was so excited I could afford a Ducati! Needless to say it's going to be more expensive than I anticipated. But at least it will stay on the road. Look out for lots of questions..... Here's a pic from a sunny ride a few weeks ago. -
Ducati Owners Club South Australia Boxing Day Ride.
A good turn-out today for the annual Presidents Boxing Day ride here in South Australia. Good ride through the Adelaide Hills with a sunny 23* ending up at a pub for lunch.
