For Sale Immaculate 996r
Hi all. As mentioned a couple of times, thinking about selling the 996R I have had for two years. My knees are shot and this should be ridden for more than the 20 mins I can manage now (not to mention a new V4PP to pay for that is now here
).
Immaculate Ducati 996R. One of the very first, number 009 of 500. Manufactured in 2001 and sat unregistered as display model in collection of Team Renegade Ducati team owner, Mark Griffiths. Registered for the road in December 2002 by Ducati Manchester of behalf of the same one owner until I bought the bike two years ago. Covered 17K miles with full service history from Ducati Manchester, ‘Ducati John’ Cellier (half dozen times), The Bike Specialists and last month had another full belts, fluids and ‘clean bill of health’ service with Glen Harrison at top indie specialist Moto-V. Fresh MOT with no advisories. Receipts and invoices for vast majority of the work over the last twenty years including, during 2018/19, more than £5K spent in a... -

Hello There
I finally pulled the trigger on an absolute dream bike of mine, so it's time to say hello! Standardish early 999 that looks a little bit unloved is incoming shortly
No pic yet, I need to count out the days until it's dropped off - will spam the group soon enough.
I'm more of a reader and lurker than constant stream of questions, I sometimes laugh when people make observations about threads from the dead being brought up and rediscussed, but actually this is the primary value I see over groups in Faceache - you can't search for information like a trusty old forum!
Anyhow, 'hi'. -
For Sale Roadlok - Fyi - Previous Forum Member Purchase Update.
Hi all,
I thought this was the best place to put this notice as most if not all members look in the "for sale" section.
Over the years I've sold a number of Roadlok's to members on this great forum. One of the topic's raised with me was "protecting" the barrel from road grime etc for those that ride all year like myself, and whilst routine cleaning ensured the barrel worked perfectly, I was always looking for a solution to making taking care of the barrel easier.
Well, I now have one! As an official supplier of Roadlok units, I wanted to share this with my customers on here.
Any forum member who has purchased a Roadlok from me who wants one of the "new plugs" just get in touch. All I ask is you cover the cost of the stamp and paper envelope.
Below are pictures showing the rubber plug in all its glory, and it's great to be able to offer this to my customers.
All Roadlok's now come with the rubber plug and I'll always look after any Ducati Forum member on price who wishes to...Billy Big Roy Jan 23, 2022 Parts, Accessories & Clothing For Sale Read More Views: 7,929 Likes: 9 Replies: 54 -
A Tribute To Chaz Davies - The Man Who Almost Tamed The Ducati Panigale 1199 R
Hi everyone!
With Chaz Davies, one of the most spectacular WSBK racers of the past 10 years has retired. Great to hear that he will continue as riding coach for the Aruba Ducati factory team.
To honour his achievements, I've made a little tribute video. Check it out: -
Chaz Davies To Be The Riders' Coach For The Aruba.it Racing - Ducati Team
Chaz Davies will remain part of the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati family and will take on the role of Coach, putting his experience and talent at the disposal of Alvaro Bautista, Michael Rinaldi and Nicolò Bulega who - in the 2022 season - will make his debut in the Supersport World Championship riding the Ducati Panigale V2 of the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati WSSP Team.
The Welsh rider (born in Knighton on 10 February 1987) will start a new adventure that will allow him to be at the centre of the action again after 8 campaigns (6 with the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team), 266 races, 28 victories and 89 podiums gained with a Ducati machine in the World Superbike Championship.
Stefano Cecconi (Team Principal, Aruba.it Racing – Ducati)
“We are happy to be able to count on Chaz again, albeit in a new role both for him and for our team. His experience will certainly be of great help to our riders, allowing them to express their full potential. His contribution to the SuperSport project will... -
The Ducati Official Club In Scotland Is Changing In 2022
The Ducati Official Club in Scotland is changing in 2022
All owners of Ducati motorcycles, the world over, are encouraged by Ducati Motor Holdings SpA (DMH) to become members of their local Ducati Official Club with local branches, which are co-sponsored by DMH and the local official dealers in the relevant geography.
From January 2022, the Ducati Official Club for Scotland is changing.
Two brand new branches have been founded as part of Ducati Official Club GB (DOCGB). One is for members based in the west of Scotland, sponsored by Ducati Glasgow and one for members based in the east of Scotland, sponsored by the new dealership Ducati Dundee. The Scottish Ducati Club is no longer an official club.
The DOCGB has been chosen to support this venture as they already have 33 established branches, working with Dealerships across the UK. The new branches in Glasgow and Dundee will provide a better club experience alongside the official Ducati Dealer Network benefiting from the... -
899 Just Bought This Beauty
In my quest to find a Red Ducati Supersport S I've ended up buying this lovely 2015 Ducati 899 Panigale. Excellent condition, 2 owners, FSH, 4600 miles.
Looking forward to having it delivered next week, sounds awesome with the stock cans, so doubt I'll bother changing them. I would have loved one of the higher spec Single swing arm Panigale's, but only had my full licence for 13 months, mid life crisis at 50! -

Mancave Testastretta Helmet
I’ve had an old helmet kicking around a while, so was planning something a bit off the wall with it these long boring nights.
That’s turned out to be a Testastretta tribute with faux working gears, belts, clutch, air intakes and lights. Thought it would go well with the light unit.
She’s all Dremeled out now, with red base coat applied.
I’ve sourced and trial fitted most of the parts, everything will run on bearings and be driven by 6v motors. Once I’ve finished the paint and graphics, hopefully today, I’ve start to fit everything.
It’s been a laugh so far. -
Hello From Cheltenham
Greetings forumites,
Back to motorbikes after a 16 year break and treated myself to this fantastic '17 Supersport S. Can't believe how much things have changed since my last bike (YZF750) with up/down quick shifters, ride modes, digital displays and the host of electronic safety features available nowadays. I know the bike looks a bit grubby in the photo but the 'after wash' photo was hopelessly out of focus
Plans are to try and get out as much as possible as the weather allows during the Winter, with some plans to maybe do a couple of track days when the weather gets better along with a bit of touring with mates / days out to BSB / IoM / Le Mans / etc. during the Summer.
I'd originally thought about a 899 / 959 / V2 Panigale but the SS was definitely the right bike for me after such a long lay off and although the YZF was a brilliant bike a big V twin was always my dream.
The SS might be joined by a V2 Panigale at some point though...

1299 She's Home
Picked the new bike up this afternoon. Only ridden for a few miles but wow what a lovely bike.
I see what you mean when you say it's different feel to an inline 4. Nice to have a shifter and blipper and it's so easy to get into gear.
Brakes are so much more than the Suzuki I had. -
