Bitching Season Seems To Have Started Already
It seems that the “bitching season” has already started and members are already getting fractious with each other (and we are not into November yet).
Can I suggest that if you disagree/dislike someone or something that you either STFU and walk away from the thread or put that person on ignore. (The forum rules are also worth a read in case you don’t know or understand what you’ve signed up to.)
You’ll have a much nicer forum experience and you won’t make me grumpy and make me get involved.
Thanks for your understanding.

Pg Performance
Just had my 899 serviced and MOT'd by Paul at PG performance in Eastleigh near Southampton.
He was recommended by a few people on the forum, and I'm very glad I contacted him. Great service, great communication, and a fantastic price. Picked up and dropped the bike from me all the way in Bristol at a time that suited me. Fixed a problem that Riders Bristol couldn't work out as well. Nothing but good things to report.
Many thanks @PGP for your great service! Highly recommended.

Ducati Panigale V4 S Named 2018 Mcn Bike Of The Year And Sportsbike Of The Year.
MCN bike of the year and sportsbike of the year awards for the Panigale V4S
The Panigale V4 S also named best motorbike in the Sun Motor awards
Panigale V4 S completes hat-trick of major awards
The Ducati Panigale V4 added to its collection of accolades by being named bike of the year and sportsbike of year in the 2018 MCN awards.
The latest generation Ducati sportsbike has been described as ‘technical masterpiece’ by Motorcycle News and lauded for its prowess on both track and road.
MCN road tester, Michael Neeves said of the V4 S, “No superbike comes with such, speed, power and technology, mixed with style beauty and surprisingly civility. Best of all the V4 S makes you feel so special and it’s so unutterably gorgeous that you can’t take your eyes of it. The Ducati Panigale V4 S is everything an exotic superbike should be and so much more."
The latest awards from MCN for the Panigale V4 follows the recent Sun Motors award for best motorbike, the Ducati was chosen by the... -
S1000r First Ride
Managed to actually get out today, 100 miles or so down top Steel Horse outside Abergavenny (nice little place, worth a visit for coffee).
First thoughts:
Wow its different to the multi, cant believe how different. Not a great deal of comfort to start with, pegs are quite high, lots of weight thru the shoulders. Got better as I adjusted and sat as if on a sports bike.
But very light, so easy to steer and change direction, so much so I kept hugging inside not outside of corners as its too easy to turn at the speed I was going. Compared to the multi, its like switching from a Hercules to a spitfire (or at least, what I imagine it to be like). I reckon if ridden with nobody weight hitting around this thing will cut thru turns so easily. But will need more speed to make sense...Harder to ride fast off the bat IMHO, and will take some getting used to.
The higher screen I put on made 80mph cruise easy, as is the cruise control. In fact all the controls are easy and... -

Aragon Motogp On Monsters.
Dawn and I went from Lossiemouth in NE Scotland to the Aragon MotoGP on our Monsters, Dawns 821 and my 1200R. We rode from Lossie to Durham on the first day and stayed with friends. Day two was Durham to Kent. Monday morning chunnel, then on to Alencon were we stayed in a B&B. Then on to stay with friends in Marsillac-lanville. Next day to Bayonne. Then to Zaragosa for four days. On the Monday after the racing we went to Santander for the ferry to Portsmouth. From there we went to stay with Dawns cousin in Milton Keynes. Next day up the road to Ecclefechan. From there back home to Lossie. Magic trip, dry for most of time apart from Pitlochry to Lossie. Bikes never missed a beat. Mileage was 2500. Here's a few pics.
Our friends place in France, and yes we did have a swim.
View from our hotel in Zaragosa.
Well deserved.
One horse power.
I was Gutted when Lorenzo binned it at the first corner. -

If you want anything shifting this forum guy did a top job for me.
Carl known as ‘I’m closing in’ shifted my Husky out to Spain. He collected it from my gaff in London and dropped it off 2 or 3 days later near Malaga and made the whole process dead easy.
He’s now taking Bazzers bike back to the UK.
Whatever you want shifting, bike, bikes or anything else wherever, UK or Europe
give him a call.
A good guy doing a great job with his lovely Mrs helping.
Another successful forum connection, cheers Carl, you did a great job. -

1200 The Multi Is Dead, Long Live The .....
Another Multistrada of course.....duh !!!!!!!
The last one was the best bike i have ever owned so made sense to get another one
A few days after the accident i got a lift to my local Ducati place Seastar Superbikes/ Ducati Norwich to see what they had in stock to replace the wrecked GranTourismo.
After the usual piss taking about limping about the place and one working arm we had a look in the back of the workshop as something that i might be interested in had been traded in by a bloke who needed to free up some money and had chopped in his pride and joy for an ER6 of all things.
A 16 plate (late registration as the GT's were only made 2013 -2014) GranTourismo in Red with 6100 miles on the clock and a previous owner who could have been mates with Weeksy on the cleaning front .... it was immaculate with all the added extras i had on my old one.
I could have got a newer DVT model but mileage would have been higher and much lower spec for the budget i had available
Tony agreed... -
