Been watching the news and pundits reckon Blatter is going to survive. How a man that has presided over so much scandal and promised each time to fix it survives I'll never know. Greg Dyke is talking about a European boycott of the next world cup. Yeh right, I've got clear blue skies here and you can't see a pig for miles. Andy
Breaking news: Sepp Blatter has won the first vote of the Fifa presidency election against Prince Ali. More follows...
Can't see anything wrong with it, thumbs up for democracy in action. They've all had a free vote and elected the best man for the job. No ones 'uman rights have been violated. Zurich has got talent I say. Go Joseph, go Joseph, go go go . Long reign King Joseph.
...all aboard, anyone with any sense would have steered well clear of this poison chalice for the foreseeable future. Who in their right mind would want to steer the ship off the rocks until such time as it's been cleared up? Good luck to Mr. Blatter the fat, stupid cunt, personally I hope his gravy train crashes into the sidings at full speed with him firmly at the dead-mans handle. Bread sauce anyone?
Sepp Blatter. The Robert Mugabe of football. The only way to get rid of him is like you do with an African dictator. The army rolls up with a load of tanks. But FIFA don't have any tanks, so we are stuck with him until he dies. And as power seems to keep him alive, it might not be for many years. The only hope is for UEFA to boycott FIFA. Has Platini got the balls for that? I don't think the Feds will touch him, or the Swiss dob him in it. He will come out smelling of roses. That is how power works.
I still don't believe that blatter is unimpeachable, how the fuck can he not be responsible/culpable for Fifa's activities over the last twenty or so years? How?
I do hope UEFA actually do boycott FIFA, but I don't think they will. Platini hasn't got the bollocks.
Why don't European football withdraw from FIFA completely. start a rival authority and invite the rest of the world to join? That's the way to deal with corrupt organisations. Don't reform them, bypass them and cut them out of the game.
