  1. Also... does anyone use the samco hoses? I have them on a car I own but wanted some opinions? Would prob go with a classic black set ?

  2. Looking good that mate :upyeah:
I bought a set of Samco hoses, really good quality, make sure you buy the clips if you do go with them, they’re really good too

  5. Been a busy few weeks with work!
Progress is slow but all moving in the right direction!

More little bits and bobs from Ducati arrived yesterday, samco hoses on order and also so nice ignition leads, starting to slowly come together,

going to have a big clear out once it’s on it’s wheels loads of bits that will most likely be useful for maybe a track bike?

  6. Good day of little jobs today.

rear calliper Re fitted, both header tanks back in place and clean, throttle bodies back on, chain on, waiting on new ignition lead and Samco’s to arrive.

think I’m going to get a new oil cooler made as I can’t find anyone who makes a replacement?

  9. We have a clutch...

Really happy with the last weeks progress, have a feeling that samco’s and this oil cooler problem will be the next thing slowing it down.

have had some lovely original frame stickers re made using the same machinery Ducati would have used

coolant hoses and we are Nearly there, had a small mishap with the good condition rear shock I recently bought. Had it in the bike and decided to dump its oil, but that should be finished up tomorrow after rebuilding.

  13. Cheers mate, really enjoyed it so far and everyone on here has been very helpful

  14. I'm interested to hear how that radiator fits. I have read reports that they are too wide and the ends are too square so the fairing doesn't fit very well. I hope that's lot the case for you. I would be interested I buying a new Chinese radiator just to preserve the ageing original one I have.

  15. will keep you posted this is a JMP one from Larsson's so hopefully its ok, all there stuff is TUV approved so will be interesting to see!

  16. I doubt it's anything but a Chinese radiator badged. There are 2 types that I'm aware of. Yours with the fabricated end tanks that appear to have the issue of not bein a good fit because of the very square edges on the end tanks. There is also a black one which has pressed ends like the original and looks a good match but I haven't any info about the fit. I have seen both at inflates prices badged by all sorts of aftermarket vendors but I fear they all come from the same place. 2021_06_03_10.29.00.jpg 2021_06_03_10.29.00.jpg 2021_06_03_10.29.24.jpg

Fingers crossed yours will be a good fit.

  17. well lets not be too negative, its a good move forward anyway so lets see how we get on! :upyeah:

  18. Shock rebuilt. Spring powder coated, the original I had was a little tired, bought this one. Had it in the bike while I was assembling as it was in great condition. Noticed it started to leak a little so pulled it out for a birthday.

    leads on,

    hurry up hoses!
