I tried a bit of winter off-roading fun. Got soaked, fell off a lot and saw stars. Feck dat den! :Meh:
Deffo need to invest in protective gear , in particular if you're a complete novice to it like I am. I got decent MX boots, knee and shin pads and full body armour and am very glad for it. MissPineapple went out in road boots and managed to break her foot over christmas
I had a 2011 enduro R 690 they drink oil. It was loads of fun round the country roads but shite on normal straight roads. Used to wheelie like a demon though
Got out on Friday for an hour and a couple of days before Christmas was warm and dry. Glad its not on SORN or all wrapped up for winter !
