On advice from Ducati in Bohemia, I just hooked up my 944SL to a 'service tank' and ran her in the 12 year old oil, just to see if the Keihins had gummed up, took a while to get rid of an airlock, and then she fired up Don't know who was happier, me or my boy, who's never heard a Ducati up close.
