Fitting Termi Cans

  1. I've a 2012 Diavel Carbon, and although I've had the bike a while, have not ridden for about 6 yrs (hip issues :pensive: ) so am very out of date. I have a set of Termi cans to fit. Do I need some sort of 'butterfly eliminator module', and also will the cans run fine without any ecu remap (e.g standard, but louder!)?

  2. That was certainly the case with my 2010 1098 SF. I bought it with Termi decat cans and performance ECU fitted (original cans and ECU included in the sale). I later had a custom remap prior to which the exhaust valve was removed on the advice of the tuning shop. The valve deletion was covered in the remap. It isn't necessary to remove the valve just when fitting Termi cans and as long as you fit the performance ECU that's paired with them no remap is necessary. Removing the servo valve is a separate modification and does require mapping as the performance ECU has been mapped on the assumption it is still there.

  3. I'd certainly be interested in that if still available S

  4. Yes, still available. I’d advise doing a bit of a background check, just to reassure yourself the ECU is right for the job. Andy

  5. That's fine. Do you want to pm me with payment details etc?

  6. @mr noisy, I’ll PM you. I’d remove your email address from your post as this part of the forum is open to the public. Wouldn’t want you to get spammed :upyeah: Andy

  7. Thanks. I think you can still pm me?

  8. I'm sorry, my fault entirely. I'm a Racesafe Marshal and I've been busy getting organised for the BSB at Oulton this weekend and it slipped my mind. Just off trackside now, will try and message you this evening. Andy

  9. Absolutely no rush - all good here.
