From Gt3 To?

  1. Yep, mate had a DB9 back in the day and I must say it was 50/50 whether it was on his drive whenever I went round. Had a lot of trips back to the dealership. Maybe a different story now though… Aston Martin’s win the beauty contest for me :)

The DBS SL is a lot of beautiful car for the money right now… :astonished:

  2. As a T350C owner I’d say don’t dismiss these from your selection choices. They can be “tamed” with appropriate suspension setup & consideration’s when driving . Just note there’s no safety aids to assist so the stuff it in & rely on computers to get you around a bend approach will only result in tears .

  8. Nah that's the Caterham mate, chap I used to know built a stripped down superlight version with a 2.3 Raceline duratec putting out 308BHP & had a sequential Quaife 'box - that was certainly the closest thing ever to a 4 wheel bike... Terrifying!

  9. Caterhams and the suchlike really are motorbikes but with 2 extra wheels

  11. I've had the occasional use of an Elise 111 over the last probably 15 years, they really do 'pretend'. They are an amazing car no doubt if you want balls-to-the-wall hooning, but they are also a one trick pony, last few times I've been out in the UK I just couldn't be bothered with the noise and being shaken all over on the potholes. Bah humbug...grumpy old man. ;)

  12. A bit old, SLR McLaren 722

  13. For £25k - £30k?

  14. Or is it the GT3 and £25-£30k??

  15. As he is considering Tuscans, Exiges and 968s, I assumed it was £25k-£30k.

  19. Yep, a 2.7. The Cayenne was quite amusing, but kept getting in my way in the corners. :D
