Front Brake Lever Fitting

  1. Hi guys hope Your all well ? Well the dreaded weather has taken its toll on my multi ! It’s now been blown over in the wind . Fortunately the only thing that has been damaged is my front brake lever and my wallet !!! £90 for a genuine Ducati one !!! Anyone got any tips on how to fit it ? Is it the same as any or most bikes where you just take out the pin ? Cheers
     
  2. Yes. You have to push out the pivot sleeve so that you can separate the 2 parts to remove the pin. When you take them apart watch out for the spring that will probably fall out. When re-fitting to the bike be very careful not to damage the rubber boot over the master cylinder entry.
     
  3. Interesting, but different master cylinder, different levers. The Multi uses a radial master cylinder.
