The seals in the master cylinder are inflatable (the fluid pressure makes the seal), new seals need to find their shape so need a bit of time under pressure. Try putting a cable tie on the brake lever and leave it on overnight to bed it all in. It might not help your seal leaking issue but at least you'll know if you have a problem.
Well, tonight after leaving it last night the reservoir was empty so something was leaking....got the master cylinder off...think i need to get some circlip pliers to get the circlip out....theres always something isnt there....
