The one I linked is what I have. Didn't know they were for radial brakes. Explains my issues some what! I was asking @Loz if that's what he used. Appreciate mine are different to what @bradders put up.
They are designed for non radial, just people use them with radial. The two peonies ‘cup’ the fork bottom like a Hollywood producer on a 18yd old breast. And just like that, they are patial to slip south..
One of these then. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/232517597620 Would have liked a under yoke though so I could remove forks too.
Looks perfect yes. No mate you can't remove the yokes with the ones that go under the neck tube, you need a hoist or, better still, a pair of axle stands and a bar as I posted a week or so ago bruddah
I do worry a bit about that yeah, tend to use a headstock stand whenever possible but those caliper mount stands are quick and dirty
ive only just started using it,but its really easy if you put the bike on the rear stand first, then if I need the front up I wrap a strap roond the back wheel and my ramp
That's the sort I use. I do not have radial brakes. You have to be careful setting it up and just to confirm, you should loosen off or remove anything that needs a bit of grunt prior to lifting up the front but I have never had a problem with it.
