My 06 999 when stopped and with the key out has a faint motor running noise. ( not fans) . Have disconnected the battery . Apparently the tank pump runs all the time the engine is running and briefly on ignition initialization. Problem now is it dosen't on initialization and the rest of the time sounds like it is dying !! Help
What Derek said. You can test if this is the issue by swapping the headlight relay for the fuel pump relay, they're identical.
