Can't disagree with that statement, just back from a 2 up tour to Spain and Portugal, bike now showing 21k miles, this was my 4th euro trip this year, already planning next year . Rear tyre did get me home Doing what the PP does best.
With that closing statement , please can you let the folks who asked the question be given your insurance company you use as to keep the forum as it function , to give helpful information and advice. Thanks
Hope I got the gist of your question correct , if you mean did I get 4 tours out of the tyre, then hell no, about 2.5k from that one with a couple of wet days thrown in, fortunately it didn't rain when we got off the ferry . I find the PP is slightly kinder on tyres than the 1260 though. Can't fault the Angel GT2's, wet or dry
No , I thought it was the Rosso 4 . That’s about the same as me , well apart from the Road 5 which lasted 1500 miles . 2 to 2.5 k on a tour . Running Conti TA 3 mind at the moment , well was on the V4s and the current GS
Haha, thought you were being optimistic, the original Rossi 4 did last quite well actually, better than I expected but I only used them in the UK and not for touring. Only tried the Road 5 when they first came out and hated them on the 1260, not used Michelins since, bizarrely until then I'd always favoured Michelins.
Anyone in Middlands (Coventry, Daventry) with the V4 Multi, and full akra fitted by dealer, upmap, and DB killer still fitted? I'd appreciate a meet up, go for a ride & chat, maybe bike swap for a bit, see how it sounds, feels... Would help me decide if I should bother getting one for my Rally or not. Ta
