Garage Security!

  1. A small sign with 'Security by Smith and Wesson' helps............

  2. I try not to advertise my security externally. Scrotes tend to think that the more you have security wise then the more you must have something valuable.

I live in a tall block of flats and my own garage is built into the base of those flats. I cannot see the garage from my flat. From the outside it looks like a normal everyday garage with the standard garage door with a lock and a normal gate slide bolt going into the floor with a combination lock. In this way it looks just like most of the other garage's where I live.

Once the door is open I have a ground anchor with an insurance approved chain, the bikes own steering lock and immobiliser. Beyond that, if someone wants my bike bad enough then they will find a way to do it.

I rarely stress about what else can I do as there will always be something extra, plus I would spend more time and money locking it up/unlocking it, than riding it.
