  2. Agree! how about filling in some of potholes, the A roads are almost third world around here.
     
  3. There actually is a garden bridge in Mile End, East London. It cost £millions to build. The thing is it's near an awkward road junction which desperately needs an underpass or flyover, but still hasn't got one because the money was spent on the garden bridge. Also, the bridge doesn't look beautiful (or even interesting) from below, and from above it looks just like a bit of Mile End Park - so it doesn't even attract visitors.
