I tried to link everything when I got the multistrada. I realised that for me it just wasn't needed. Now I've the headset linked to both satnav and phone. Works fine and if I need to talk to others when I'm out I just press the button. I'd see the point if the bike was giving updates or something but the satnav does all that so I dont bother. Its like all the modes and suspension settings. Mostly its the same one I use.
