  4. Well I was to ride it to brettskis for the party then up to sausage this morn but bloody battery dead... So I put it on charge over night, took the van and left Brett's early this morn, hoping to get her going and b ride up but either something wrong with charger or battery fucked ..
Battery only a few months old

  5. Sorry Richard and Nick - forgot to get pictures of your 600SS/750SS. There was also another 900SSie, a 749S, an 848, a V4 Pani, 2 Multistradas, 2 Diavels and at least 2 more Monsters.

  6. Who's is the red/white one with bikini fairing and what is it? Looks cool

  7. No worries

  8. That's my 1992 900ss CR. It's a US bike that was part of a 200 run of half faired bikes in 1992 which were called Cafe Racers I believe. It's a rolling restoration as it needs painting over the winter but it goes well. :upyeah::)

  10. Nice one mate...
Is that the colour scheme they came out in? Also, did the bikini faired ones have that belly pan or is that an add on?

  11. No they were standard colours and the same as the SS apart from the half fairing. The previous owner did the paint scheme and added the SL rear, Ducati Performance end cans (Remus) and the belly pan. Apart from his addicition to gold fittings and the poor paint quality I do quite like the way it looks and plan to keep it the same when I get it painted
    Cheers
    Pete

  12. I had a '92 white frame 750 with bikini fairings as std but i think the next owner changed them to full fairing and it seems most people do. I still have a couple of pairs in the loft. They look every bit as good as full fairing to me. Wish I had never sold this one, a 400SS that went for around £800 some 6 years ago. Only consolation is that it was bought by a really sound bloke, a little older than me and he was over the moon.

  15. Jacqueline B turned up at the Sausage with her 1926 HRD-JAP 500cc sidevalve. Now over 90 years old, this bike was only 50 years old when I borrowed it to ride around on for a week including a ride from London to Stratford upon Avon. Also rode it at night using the acetylene lights. Those were the days.
