It would appear not, no. Mind you, I did invert the wheel nut and hit that so I didn’t flare the axle end by hitting the axle end. I did hit the wheel nut hard enough to split it (fortunately I had a spare one laying around) the axle still didn’t budge. I guess all the rust dissolving penetrant Id been applying over the days it was with me eventually helped.
