  2. Latest newsletter from Prostate Cancer UK.

“Life affected by prostate cancer isn't just about hospital appointments, test results or treatment plans. It's about the everyday questions, worries and moments in between.

And we want men to feel like they're not facing it alone.

That's why we've created The Prostate Health Hub. It's not a science journal; it's a digital space designed to support men during and after prostate cancer. Whether they've had prostate cancer, have had it in the past, or are a loved one affected by it, our new Hub is built for them in mind.”

  3. I went yesterday and had a positive experience which is good because I’ve not had good experiences on the incredibly rare cases I’ve been to a doctor (literally once every 5 or more years).

Without going into loads of detail I have an overactive bladder so there is crossover with symptoms of enlarged prostate. Luckily the doc took it seriously and I have a full blood test in a few weeks and follow up, also he did urine tests and checked for blood etc.

He did say “42 is too young for prostate issues” but I struggle a bit with that because my mate was 46 when diagnosed and I can’t believe it’s THAT specific!!

  4. Agreed, best to play it safe and get your blood tested for PSA level. The earlier they catch it the better.
