  1. Agree with almost everything Tricky except point 5. but I'll put up with that.

When is your expected delivery bradders, ordered mine end of May, now expected first week of August ?

  2. Mid august as its end July build

  3. What's not to like ?
I'll put it this way, normally I'll do 5-6k miles a year only in the dry stuff, I've had my s for just over a month now and I've hit just over 2.5k...... Nuff said I think :p

  4. I can see myself visiting Ducati Coventry very soon!!

Love the carbon screen Tobers has put on. I'd be ordering one of those straight away. Would much prefer a bit of wind hitting me than the dreaded buffetting.

I'm gonna have to hurry up and get a deposit down before I wear the brochure out. :)

I don't normally piss around when it comes to buying a new bike but this is BY FAR the most expensive bike I'll have ever bought (I'm after the 1200S Touring). It kinda makes it a serious decision. :Sorry:

  5. Snap. Never bought a new bike before, never paid more than 9k either. Then Spunked 16k at the last S and about to spunk another 16k at the next S after only 2 years.

  6. That's a whole lot of spunk there, Bradders. :D

  7. What can I say. I eat a lot of fruit and yoghurt.

  11. Brave man with that Gopro (assuming it's just suction cupped to the screen?!)!

  12. Thanks - taken by msvt photography. Brands Hatch

  13. It's glued on - very solid.

  14. Great Picks. Was that the Indy circuit? I did the same a while back on my 2010 MTS.

  15. did you ever manage to get for knees down? I ended up with my other foot off the peg trying to get my body far enough over. Just leaning the bike over just meant I got the pegs down and often my foot trapped.

  16. Nice pic :)

I did manage to get my knee down (and peg at times!), although not with good technique in hindsight (i have been researching since!). I think where i was going wrong was not moving the upper body across - you can see in the photo that my upper body is trying to stay in the centre whilst the lower body moving across. By moving the whole body accross, the left knee rests against the tank opening up the right knee to go out that way (lots of good vids explaining it better on youtube!).

This said, I am far from an expert, but definitely possibly on a multey I believe.

  17. People used to comment that moving your body around on a Multi S when hard cornering (skyhook) used to upset the S hook suspension, I can't comment, also don't know if this applies to the new one?

  18. Going back to the track a week Wednesday - I'll find out! :)

  19. Imo it does yes. Mid corner body adjustment isn't liked. But set up early and it fine (which you should anyway). Only really an issue with chicanes or I'd guess mcclarens into clearways may get a little unsettled.

Eveni nearly had my knee down on a multi on track. In the wet.

  20. Ascovall I'd imagine you are wearing toe sliders out given the amount of foot off (duck foot) the inside peg there. If you tuck that back it makes it easier to get your leg and body in the right position and saved boots! Also means when the boot goes down, the peg is next so major gauge as to what is left :)
