Yup, the problem was not so much where it was mounted but the angle, despite having it angled well out away from my chest, the angle my chest was at was a lot steeper than I imagined. Next time I'm going to try mounting a camera, either under the fairing or with a suction pad onto the big round headlamp (with a safety lanyard attached just in case)

I made the video for me anyway, I never intended to post it, I just thought maybe somebody would be interested in the views from the camera mounted to the barends
