Soooo, I pulled the trigger on the Duessen Engines map and flasher unit. The map is a huge improvement over the Termi UpMap in that it retains the 2 cylinder de-activation and is much smoother on throttle pick up and release, but it still needs some tweaking, however it has made the bike so much more rideable on the road. Still not a fan of the grabby dry clutch but I am wrestling with the economic viablity of switching back to a wet set up, which makes pulling away from a standstill less of a thought intensive process.
Surprised you’re thinking about switching to a wet set up. I went the other way- wet to STM dry. I don’t find it grabby at all. That said, as a track dayer, I only ever use it pulling away for a session. The dry set up is way better imo. Easier maintenance, no fluid drag and cleaner oil. On the downside there’s longevity. A wet set up will last a bit longer. And grabbiness apparently Plus the dry set up looks and sounds way cooler! * Economic viability? You?
