Yes, there are recipes for birthday cake, champagne, flowers and confetti. Who says we don't do a good idea to death?
Tell me more! What programme, and what station? Perhaps I can get hold of it. Or perhaps someone can get me a podcast of it. thanks!
bbc radio scotland, people don't send cards any more, E,cards are the future strangely enough people are still more likely to send birthday cards by mail.
With only a few days to go before Xmas, and so far I have one real paper card. I sent out 10. A few years ago, I'd send out 30 and get back maybe 12, so it does seem that the tradition is dying. Of course, that's not all that's dying. A lot of old relations, godmothers and whatnot have shuffled off this mortal coil, so my Xmas card list shrinks. They were the people I made sure got cards, as they were nice to me when I was a kid and are probably those who appreciate them the most. My Jewish friends never sent me cards back, but I think this is more due to them not celebrating Xmas, rather than them being tightwads. Er... I think. The ecard is cool (if it's a good one). Little to no investment, much quicker to write and send and it will get there on time, or not get there at all (some people have very savage spam filters - especially if it's only a work address you have). It's also greener.
Good luck fella. Here's to a successful start up, immediate take up and a bid from Google in 9months of £5m
I was on Geneva radio yesterday. It now goes all over the country by DAB. I was phoned up during my Adwords training, somewhat unexpectedly. I had emailed the host (whom I know a little) with the idea to big up my biz at Xmas time, but a week had gone by with no reply and I had assumed the idea didn't suit. Had go wing it somewhat, but spouting crap has never been a problem for me... A PR result!
