George Russell comes cross as a massive snitch (imo) but he’s spot on. “If you give it you have to be able to take it”. It’s a really simple life rule that MV doesn’t seem to have grasped yet. If he was a boxer he’d be moaning the other fighter threw a punch.
I think George has handled this and other situations well. There’s clearly no love lost there! I’d struggle to look at MV again after all the shennanigans, let alone talk to him. Max was straight on the radio after he and Charles touched, when in fact it was his fault, so he’s a whinger and a snitch too. Bottom line on yesterday is, you just can't do what he did. It was road rage pure and simple and dangerous to him and other drivers - being frustrated is not mitigation. Fuck me, I’d be driving into cvnts every 200 yards through frustration with the way driving standards are these days!
They definitely rub each other up the wrong way but you could say that about a few drivers and MV could t you lol. I’m wondering if it’s going to come back and bite him firmly on the arse at some point…
Reminds me of a certain motorcycle rider. Up there with the very best ever but still has some unnecessary *ahem shadows hanging over him.
.....laughing.... But Rossi has retired so we should maybe let bygones be bygones and not talk about the "ahem shadows" anymore? ....laughing....
I’ve always loved baddies in sport. John McEnroe, Anthony Gobert, Novak Djokovic, Tyson Fury, Floyd Mayweather to name a few. Nowadays I like Marc Marquez and Max Verstappen. When Rossi and Marquez were out of MotoGP I totally lost interest. It’s the controversy and argy bargy I love. A right salty bastard. Like Max Verstappen. If/when he retires I’ll lose interest in F1. Just my two penneth…
Fair play, Mary. My only interest in VR and MM is their capabilities and career records. And I did love Superbrat and Tyson is good value. I think if MV had some charisma, then maybe I’d like him, but he’s just a petulant wank.
This is fantastic if u haven’seen it yet. “F1 have released colourised footage of the first ever World Championship race at Silverstone to celebrate the sport's 75th birthday” https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16GJ3Nqu6E/?mibextid=wwXIfr
