1) verstappen won’t sign a new contract unless he’s gone (hard to believe)

Or

2) verstappen’s gone, their cars no longer the best on the grid and they’re making changes

Can’t think of any other scenarios.

So true, Bernie Ecclestone paid HMRC a total of £652.6 million as part of a civil settlement related to a tax fraud case. This payment included back taxes, interest, and civil penalties, and was his only way to avoid jail until death let him out.

 

I would lay a lot of money on that being the least of his worries.
