it's been a few years but if that aint him he's got a doppelganger. he popped into the workshop couple of years back to catch up but i was on holiday at the time. his name is Richard. a super intelligent and down to earth guy who liked to hang about the workshop. and no less interesting. one of the youngest to ever qualify as a surgeon. worked in many a war zone and had more than a passing acquaintance with Barnes Wallace would you believe. an all round good guy with a very dark sense of humour. great craic.(tho they got on, but unlike Barnes Wallace apparently) . right. fathers day presents. the obligatory bottle of Gin from the lad. and a bottle of shampoo from the daughter. wtf am i gonna do with shampoo?
Mmm - it’s one of those situations where I could damage our relationship. I don’t see her more than once or twice a year and we rarely speak. I don’t think I’ve done anything to cause it, but I tend to just let it go.
They've got a rehearsal I think in Dunfermline this Sat…..? Amateur group and it looks as though members may dip in/out - they are on FB so you could get in touch and find out. I used to play years ago, but not to that standard (although I was in an orchestra).
I met my sons for lunch at the Bikeshed and an awesome time was had by all. The dog was absolutely mental though! Since recovering from his recent near death experience he seems determined to make the most of his second chance and so he’s reverted to behaving like a puppy again, particularly when he’s around the boys.
