916 Headstock Numbers?

  1. I’ve just noticed these numbers on my 95 916 left side of headstock. Can any of you lads shed some light on them out of curiosity.

  3. Month and Day of production?

    I have 5-20 on my 95 916 so we're pretty close!

  5. I must look at my reg book to see when mine was first registered. Anyone else got any ideas of what they are.

  10. You can do a cross ref. Under your seat at the mainframe there is the built date. In this case 27-11-2001.

  13. All my gold frames don’t have these numbers but the post 2000 silver frames years do.
