  2. I've heard fog mentioned several times, but I was half a mile down the road from 6am that morning and I can assure you that at ground level it wasn't foggy. My mate reckoned he could see St George's wharf from where he was in Chelsea.
     
  3. There was fog at the main destination which was a heliport to the north of London. This triggered the diversion to an alternate which was the heliport in the center of London.
     
  4. I see, now I understand why everyone was mentioning fog.

  6. They move about a bit in the wind, but I doubt that means they'll go around like a windmill, probably more a case of swaying. I heard a report that the recon he was distracted by trying to change the frequency of the radio. Until the report comes out later in the year its all guesswork. Sadly, I can see this coming up as pilot error :frown:
     
  7. It was reported that the beacon had been checked/was working the previous day.
