  1. oh dear, glad you’re okay dude.

A few of my pals were up at Donny as well.

If I was in the market for airbag I’d be looking at Dainese personally.

alpinestars are made of cheese and I don’t trust rst having seen waaay to many suits fall to bits in crashes (although many rave about them).

my held suit is non air bag and I’ve crashed the living shit out of it and it’s been mega

  2. Thanks alot bud.

Yeah there was some serious kit about yesterday mate I could tell there was alot of chaps that wouldn't usually do a T day just test days.

There's a plethora of choice isn't there, realistically I imagine in todays day and age there isn't really a 'crap' set made any more.
    @LiveFast...... Shared some interesting links.

I'm going to talk to the guy that manages my local JS tomorrow and have a look around some other stuff. May go for a fitted 4SR and then wear an air jacket on top?

  6. £500 sounds pretty good value tbh. I have a real soft spot for those mid weight Kwaks.

Hope you get the 765 soon, looking forward to seeing what you do to it. Great bike, awesome engine. Forks pretty soft out the box in my experience.

Aye ill have a mooch around.
I was meant to ride Tuesday at brands but got my credit back don't think I'll be on track again till late June so no rush.

  8. To be fair, that’s not a bad excess and those costs aren’t bad either.

£275 for fairings is f*ck all!

  9. Yes mate, yesterday. I’ll forward them on if you have

  10. Yeah me too mate. Aye financially I had no dramas with that, was more annoyed with having to buy new leathers lol.
When I heard of G Martin yelling at the medics "don't cut my leathers!" I didn't quite understand him but now I'm faced with this cunnundrum I do lol.

  13. I’m an old duffer but I do get this. Only once had to have my gear cut off me I was begging the nurse not to and it took a medic to hold me shoulders down as the boots and leathers were cut.
Accident took me 12 weeks to get over. Leathers? Still in mourning!!

  16. Sorry dano I missed this in my state.
I appreciate your info bud but on the sale side I think I'll take get new mate just so I'm 100% assured of the integrity of the suite make up.
Glad it worked for you though.

  17. I went for the 4sr made to measure suit! It’s airbag ready to be used with the Ixon airbag vest which goes on underneath! Obviously the fit is perfect and I love em! I havnt purchased the Ixon vest yet! The price was great and service was great too! There was a few month wait but I was told that at the start and was updated by 4sr all along!

  18. Cheers for the info bud.
Ah bugger I'm. Not sure if I've got a few months. Tbf my next one isn't booked till end of July but I'd want for road as well (just to run the bike in) . I'll ring up and have a chat with em! Cheers

  19. Ended up getting a set of A* Atem 3, perfect sizing on the previous set of same brand but different suit so though I'd play it safe.
Look very breathable and has more armour in places, elbow sliders for when I elevate my self to absolute show off status.

  20. Went with the 803, thanks for the link @LiveFast...... Mate.

Did like the Corsa R but thought I'd change it up a tad and for half the price can't go wrong. See how I get on with it first day on track and I'll prob get another as a spare if all is well. Looks and feels good just opening it then.
Same fit as a Large with AGV, the X-lite is an XL just incase anyone thinks of changing in the future.
