I’ve removed this Termi exhaust from my recently acquired 999 that I’m returning to standard condition. It’s a 2005 black swing-arm model, but this Termi exhaust looks to have been, ahem, adapted to fit - most notably where it passes the side of the swing-arm. I assume a correct system for this bike would be the banana version to clear the swingarm correctly. It looks to be a symmetrical 54mm 2-1-2 system with a titanium non-baffled silencer. All the associated bits seem to be present with a re-mapped ECU to suit. Can anyone confirm what model 749 / 999 this was designed to fit - grey cast swing-arm / deep sump models? Would that only be the R models? The other thing is whether the two areas of damage can be readily repaired, both where it’s been knocked in to clear the swing-arm but also at the bottom where it has also deformed with scrapes - not sure what’s happened there. Both dents are relatively close to a joint, so access isn’t too bad, but not sure how successful dent removal would be. Any recommendations for a repair shop very welcome. Lastly, any opinion on if there’s a market for this and what a reasonable price would be (once the dents are repaired). Cheers, Jonathan
