Welcome Chris , Im just along the road from you in Penicuik , normally buzzing about on a hypermotard sp or v2 panigale .
It was still a functioning mining community. Where employment and facilities still survived. I remember the railway station before they closed it. (Theyve now re-opened it) It was a much more cohesive village as we all knew one another. Im prob related to most of them lol.
Keep the stickers mate if you like em Cracking bike for the age (10 years?) Not seen much if anything of Edi, just dropped a hire car off there once near airport on way back from dropping my daughter at St Andrews, then got a taxi to town and had a pint in the Malt Shovel before I got the train back to London. Same daughter in Leith now so I do plan to get up there soon and explore a bit.
Bike looks amazing, can't believe its 10 year old, it looks new. I grew up in Pilton/ Granton in Edinburgh, it was that rough there back in the day that the murderers had to go around in gangs to stay safe...
Haha I think it's improved a little, but my bike is firmly tucked up out of sight in my garage. Thanks for the comments, yes it's incredibly clean for the age.
