SWMBO and I are going to a 50th birthday in Morzine for a couple of days in August but we’d like to spend a couple of nights in Geneva beforehand, then we’ll do the 2 nights in Morzine with our friends, then we’d like to spend 3 nights near Montreux. SWMBO has found seemingly good airb’nb accommodation in Geneva and Montreux but we need to hire a cheap car at the airport. Any got any recommendations? If we hire Swiss side do you get the vignettes etc etc. Any sensible advice would be great.
Morzine to Thonon Les Bains is one of my favourite stretches of tarmac. We shall be hitting that at end of June. So get out my way.
