  1. Using what’s to hand, bit of thought and no mechanical skills.

problem: stand is too far under engine to reach on anything other than flat or ok camber. Which is most

solution: weld something higher up the stand

solution when you don’t have stuff and cant weld: adapt, overcome, succeed....

  5. I haven't encountered a bike yet that I can't get both feet on the floor, with knees slightly bent. :bucktooth:

Although I can sometimes get a bit of leg ache on sports bikes after a day out, I'm glad I don't have that chew on or nervous moments at the lights. o_O

  6. I can get both feet flat on my r1 but struggle on the panigale.

  7. Get some heels shorties

  10. You won’t get it between the peg and gear change.
    :p

  11. I never change gear. I just keep it pinned in 1st, it saves unnecessary wear on the gearbox. :)

  15. I went out on the Tuono last week and the Triumph on Thursday. :innocent:

I'm hoping Boris allows me to go further afield from tomorrow, then I'll be pinning the Tuono around the lakes in 1st gear like a right hoonigan.

  17. Why not pull away in 2nd, give 1st a break?

  18. Because it'll chug a bit and cause damage. My method is best. :)

  20. Beggars belief, but where BMW owners are concerned ............... believable !!

We can just add this to all the other sad things they do,

Don't wave to non BMW riders.
    Wear rediculous "POLITE" day-glow vests.
Park their bikes the same way round when out together.
Only wear BMW branded clothes, (although HD riders fall into this bracket too !!)
    And so on ......... :joy:
