Well, you might have to bring me some more, Pete. I have just got back from hospital having got my tumour samples results from the recent operation. All I can say is 'bugger'.............the type of cancer is graded 1 - 3; 3 being the most aggressive.........I have a 3. So, it's More Sodding Houpsital for me - whole body CT scan to see if it has spread; back in again for the same operation to remove some bladder wall lining.......it doesn't appear to have got into the muscle; but I'll wait and see for the CT scan results before I get too hopeful. Then it's six weeks of a once a week chemo treatment up the willy. 'Bugger'........No more motorcycling this year it seems.
Yes..........Bollox; bugger; dammit, blast; fukken hell; sh*t; sod; balls etc etc etc. Bladder cancer was the last thing I expected.
Sorry to hear this Al. Cancer is a horrid disease. Having suffered two lots of skin cancer over the past eleven years, with the latest this February, I can empathise with you. Seems I'm susceptible to these lumps and bumps :/ However they are doing great things nowadays, so keep those fingers and toes crossed. I will too.
That sucks but sounds like you caught it early being just in the lining of the bladder. And sometimes the higher grade cancers are actually more susceptible to chemo and other treatments. You'll kick it's ass.
Aggressive? !!! Look how effing dangerous this stuff is - it is what they are gong to use FFS. http://chemocare.com/chemotherapy/drug-info/bcg.aspx
It seems to me that I know of more and more people including myself who are suffering from this poxy disease. Is it the actual case or is it just people are more prepared to talk about it now ?
