It's the same TPS. Just works in the reverse to the 999. Because it is on the front throttle body fully closed is high voltage and wide open is low voltage (opposite to the 749/999). You just need to make sure the spigot is correctly aligned before you push it home.
Hi JC, I know this is a very old thread but my issue is related, I want to unplug the electrical connector at the base of the AB (for the injectors and TPS) but cannot for the life of me figure out how? Your help would be appreciated! Cheers - John
I fitted my new tps about 3 years ago on s4rs ( basically same motor as 999). Bought from @Exige ( exact fit). No issues.
TPS's are one of my biggest sellers - a lot go to Italy too. CCW PF-09's are used widely on classic Ford Cosworth's and other Italian Car marques. I even have Aston Martin Works as a customer for them
Update. When i bought my bike..the old owner told me it stalls sometimes and never cleared the issues. Last summer i experienced the problem sometimes. Using jpdiag never found anything. No dtc..no real life date problems. 2 weeks ago i noticed the tps was jumping around while throttle was closed. So..bought for 30 euro a new oem marelli tps from a local fiat dealer. Openend up the airbox a bit...putted cloth pieces in the intakes, a vacuum cleaner and started to use a drill to weaken the tension of the tps unit in the housing. After a few holes it almost fell out... After mounting a new one, reset it in jpdiag it starts fine, runs smooth and picks up flawless. Thanks for the sticky
