Price up a new dash from the dealer first as a lot of the ebay prices are getting towards new cost So long as you have the red key, two black keys and a virgin ECU you can do the programming of a brand new dash yourself.
buy a new blank black key and get it cut to match the others you have then reprogram the system with the red keys and 2 x black keys the 'old missing black key will no longer immobilise the bike (but will turn the ignition) so what did it all cost you in the end ? (apart from the excess time and swearing) cheaper than a new scoot?
Current price stands at 1062. But I also have spare oil and oil filter in that price. Will still need to pay for chain fitting and fixing indicators. I also have 620 ecu for sale, mm air temp/pressure sensor plus few small bits and bobs. I am thinking total of 1200 should leave me with change for tank of petrol. Will probably do full service soon as well but belts look in good order and engin low mileage so probably in January. I did fix dash back light last night. If speedo is working then can keep dash and will add small led rev counter inside it.
Crap noticed oil leak through rocker inspection cover on horizontal bottom. Well I hope it is there as then not a biggy will borrow seal and cover from my m900 rebuild if needed. Chain first as it just arrived ...
