Nope - not yet....in the process of a rebuild...quite literally....cylinders just about to go on next....
If i didnt laugh id cry....breakdown of communications....i got the side cases cerakoted, but to get the generator side back on a bearing had to be pressed in....when i picked up the cases from the cerakoter he said "better run it through a parts washer to give it a clean out"....I took the cases to my mate who is a mechanic who offered to press all the seals back in, left it with the receptionist and said " can you ask him to run it through the parts washer also...." picked them up a week later....and he didnt get that message....grit went into the crank and here we are...i should have checked also but assumed he had....
TBF a chunk of that cost was cerakoting the engine, exhaust system and other bits and pieces....in a cruel twist the engine seizing gave me the opportunity to do that.....previously i always looked at the front barrel (peeling paint and corroded) which set my OCD into overdrive....engine should look like brand new when i go up to collect it...
