  4. Does it stop the pipes getting so hot too? I pulled over on the 999 yesterday to check the bike hadn't caught fire.

  9. Yeah....can't wait for Saturday to go get it all...once the motor is back together I think it's gonna really make the bike look good.

  10. Not sure tbh...but I will say the hyper is quite literally the coolest bike I've ever ridden...even sitting in mid summer traffic, engine ticking over....never ever budges above 3 out of 5 bars...

  11. Would you mind asking?

  12. I'll ask ducati John....this the first time the coating bloke as even seen a bike! He usually coats guns!

    Bloody good at it though...

  13. Question gents.....whats the best thing to flush the radiator out with?? i was thinking paraffin....?

  14. Could you not use a mild dilution of soda? Fill it up and plug both ends and leave for a wee while. Would that not shift the shite safely?

  15. Not sure ive got any "soda" as such...i was thinking paraffin as its a good degreaser...

Googling for it....vinegar is good apparently...!!

  16. You can buy soda from hardware store. Same stuff we used to decarbon our expansion chambers on our old 2 strokes with. But Ive since read it shouldnt be used with Alu, so ignore my suggestion. :)

  19. Im more impressed with the durability to be honest. He coated the side stand mount a few weeks back - i asked the question "how tough is the coating then?" he flipped a knife out and said "try and scrape it off...." - it doesnt...thats why i went with cerakote this time...

  20. More cerakoted goodness....just the crankcases to go...
